A good friend recently counseled me regarding an official travel advisory that the U.S. recently posted. Canada doesn't have an official warning, however it is worth noting what "exercise high degree of caution" means according to the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs. In inviting all of you intrepid explorers down to Jalisco, I do feel the need to make people aware that the violence plaguing the distant North of the country has recently reared its ugly head in Jalisco.
Now... with that out of the way: don't forget to pack your long underwear along with your sunglasses... it's cool in the evenings up there in them hills of Tapalpa and we plan on staying up all night.
